Scott Heidner,
Executive Director
sheidner@acecks.org
Scott joined ACEC of Kansas
in the summer of 2001 and became Executive Director in June of 2003. He
previously served three years as the legislative and policy analyst for
the Topeka City Council. Scott graduated from the
University of Kansas in 1994, where he received his Bachelor of Arts
degree in Political Science. Scott also received his Juris
Doctorate degree in 1997 from the University of Kansas School of Law. |

Christina Driggs,
Accounting Manager

Christina received her B.S. in Business
Administration and Accounting and her MBA from the University of Kansas.
This is her first experience with association management. Christina
has worked for multi-million dollar organizations in the industries of
real estate development and management, office supply distribution, and
long term care. Her wide variety of industry experience means she
brings a wide array of knowledge with her as your accounting manager.
Christina is currently working on her certifications as a CMA and CPA. |

Kelli Durkin,
Administrative Assistant

Kelli was previously employed by Allen Press
as an Association Manager doing a broad array of day to day executive
functions.
She attended Friends
University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration.
She is currently pursuing her certification as an Association Executive
through the American Society of Association Executives. |

Brandy Johnson, Director of Communications

Brandy has been with our team since March 1999. She is currently a
part-time student at Washburn University. Brandy’s daily
responsibilities include, but not limited to, communications; including
newsletters and websites, database management, continuing education, and
membership. |

Dale Walden,
Meeting Manager

Dale has been with ACEC Kansas since September
2004. She brings over twenty years in the
association business. She worked for the association management firm,
Smith, Bucklin & Associates in Washington, DC where she was most
recently responsible for the Pet Food Institute’s export promotion
program. The program was funded by the US Department of Agriculture
(USDA) with an annual budget of $1 million and provided educational
campaigns in Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Hungary and China. She has
a B.A. from the University of Maryland and a M.Ed. from Marymount
University. |
